ORIENT
MUGAM - the ancient and the modern music of the Orient. It is its spiritual nourishment. It lives for centuries, shaped by the mourning and dancing of mothers and fathers. Just as man needs food, he also needs Mugam. He is enlightenment, loneliness in the way one connects with oneself, with higher energy and detaches from the usual worries and concerns. Just the way one feels when listening to Movlana Rumi's poetry, free as an unconditional lover, and carefree as a flying bird, mindful of the moment and living only the moment.
OCCIDENT
RENAISSANCE - a period in the cultural history of Western and Central Europe that spans several centuries. This epoch received its name in the context of the revival of interest in ancient art, which became an ideal for cultural creators of the new age.
In the process of the sublime and spiritualised "church polyphony" of the Renaissance, new moods emerged. By paying attention to the text, composers find a way to reflect the meaning of key words in the music while keeping within the framework of the strict style. Scripts, that mirror certain moods, are used as a means of expression.
